Abstract


AIM OF STUDY: To identify and evaluate the imaging modalities used to assist in the diagnosis of patients presenting with non-traumatic right iliac fossa pathology.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:

1.To identify and describe the spectrum of disease in patients presenting with non- traumatic right iliac fossa (RIF) pathology.

2.To identify and evaluate the imaging modalities available for diagnosing patients with right iliac fossa pathology.

3. To summarise the radiological imaging pathways in use internationally and provide a suitable algorithm for right iliac fossa pain.
