Abstract

The study aims to examine the perioperative features of patients with coronary       artery disease undergoing surgical coronary artery revascularization i.e. off-pump      coronary artery bypass grafting (OPCAB).  Statistical analysis will be made of the duration of ICU and in-hospital post-operative admission, intra-operative factors such           as completeness of revascularization, as well as short-term follow-up following       surgery, specifically regarding symptomatology, major adverse cardiac events (MACE)         and re-intervention where applicable.  These data will be analysed in relation to    current international           OPCAB series regarding the outcome variables, with a view to   reaffirm the utility of the technique.
