Abstract

Aim  : To characterize the microorganisms involved in peritonitis in continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD) patients in our environment and its relationship with regulatory of the immune system.

To understand the mechanisms of Treg cells mediated immune in the genesis of peritonitis in continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis(CAPD)patients.

Hypothesis : The Treg cells isolates in peritoneal fluid and blood of the CAPD patients differ  among  the group.(with   and without peritonitis).

Objectives: Inclusions criteria: Patients with the End stage renal disease (ESRD) attending Inkosi Albert Luthuli Central Hospital (IALCH)  who are treated by Continuous Ambulatory  Peritoneal Dialysis (CAPD) and who have  a peritonitis (study group) or not (Control group) will be including  in this study.
