Abstract


The main aim of the study is to determine the   persistence rate of cervical dysplasia after treatment with large loop excision of the transformation zone (LLETZ) at 6 months follow up at Lower Umfolozi Hospital.

OBJECTIVES

·      To determine the rate of persistence of cervical dysplasia after treatment.

·      To describe management decisions of persistent cervical  dysplasia at 6 months.

·      To identify risk factors associated with persistent cervical dysplasia following initial treatment.
