Abstract


The purpose of this of this study is:

 

a) To determine the knowledge, beliefs and attitude of healthcare workers who sustained needlestick injuries and exposure to body fluids in regards to the use of personal protective measures at Addington Hospital between August 2008 to August 2009.

 

b) To determine whether health care workers who sustained needle stick injuries and exposure to body fluids made use of personal protective equipment.
